Words and poetry form an important dialogue in the work I create and facilitate.
I will often run poetry workshops and events sited amongst artwork so that multiple voices are shared and heard in the space (especially if we can flip the perceived narrative.)

...Where people arrived, drunk on salt and bound to empire, one way or another.
No-one discernible by colour and caste.
Every DNA strand I own is our fingers interlocking, our hands so many versions of the past,
And my grandfather has absolutely massive hands.
